Protect city workers with fair pay and safe workplaces
Aurora’s city workers keep the city running. Alli will push for:
Fair wages
Safe Workplaces
The right to organize a union
Strong unions mean strong families, and Alli will support pro-worker city contracts.
Ban fracking and protect clean air and water
Fracking puts Aurora’s health at risk. Alli will:
Ban fracking in Aurora’s backyard
Create a community-led Environmental Commission
Use data to guide stronger protections for air, water, and land
Ensure dignity for all with public trash cans and restrooms
Basic dignity means clean, safe public spaces. Alli will support programs to:
Install public trash cans in busy areas
Provide public restrooms
Partner with nonprofits to bring showers and laundry services to those in need
Meet Alli
Alli’s parents moved to Aurora in 1975 to build a better life for their five kids. Her father, a Black veteran, and her immigrant mother found opportunity here. That same promise shaped Alli’s life, and she is running to make sure today’s families can find opportunity too.
How Alli Leads
Alli’s leadership is rooted in listening and action. She believes the people of Aurora know what’s best for their neighborhoods and businesses. On City Council, she will:
Listen to residents and amplify their voices
Ensure City Hall decisions reflect Aurora’s diversity
Lead with courage, care, and determination

Experience That Matters
For more than 20 years, Alli has worked with and for Aurora’s people:
Started working in Aurora at 16
Built a career in customer service, education, and social services
Works as a social worker, helping families and youth
Advocates for mental health resources and community support
Alli is also a homeowner and a mom—both foster and biological. She knows the challenges families face because she lives them.

COLORADO STATE SENATE
Mike Weissman
“I'm supporting Alli Jackson because Aurora deserves better than it's getting from our current council. We need less drama and more results; less division and more listening to residents of our city. As a social worker Alli knows that people face adversity sometimes and how to help people overcome it - that's what our city needs to be focusing on.”
