Aurora’s economy should work for everyone—whether you're starting fresh after incarceration, launching a small business, or developing new job skills. The City Council must champion policies that put money back into the hands of our community.
Expand grants & low-interest loans to support new and small businesses, with a focus on historically underserved entrepreneurs
School to job pipeline by partnering with schools to provide training and career pathways in high-demand fields, ensuring access to high-paying local jobs.
Advocate for local price gouging regulation to prevent unfair rent hikes and essential goods inflation.

Families Matter
Families deserve affordable childcare, safe spaces for youth, and policies that keep them together.
As a mother, foster mom, and social worker, I understand firsthand the struggles families face—from childcare challenges to accessing mental health support. The City Council must do more to support families, and I will fight to ensure Aurora invests in families to create a strong community.
Expand after-school and recreational programs to provide safe, enriching spaces for youth, especially ages 10 to 20.
Advocate for family support services including mental health resources, housing assistance, and crisis intervention.
Push for city investment in affordable childcare through subsidies and employer-supported options.
Ensure young people have a seat at the table by expanding youth representation in city decision-making.
Advocate for policies that keep families together, from affordable housing to social services that prevent family separation to designating Aurora a Sanctuary city.

As a social worker, I’ve seen firsthand how our environment—both natural and social—affects well-being. A thriving Aurora means safe streets, strong community support, and access to nature, and I am committed to ensuring our city invests in community wellness.
Protect and expand Aurora’s natural spaces by investing in green infrastructure and sustainability initiatives.
Promote transparency and accuracy in public safety data to build trust and address real safety concerns without fear-mongering.
Expand funding for affordable housing options across all income levels, ensuring stable housing for families, seniors, and workers.
